Our sponsor-agency and who are they?

The sponsor is the organization in USA issuing you DS forms, which is the main document giving you the right to legally work in USA. Through this DS form students get J1 working visas. This Organization is located in USA and is licensed by the Department of State to issue DS forms. In addition, the representatives of this Organization come in Kosova to meet with you, tell you about the program as well as offer you various jobs.


How does the program work?

After you have applied through our agency, you will be informed about the dates of the orientation and job fair usually taking place during the same day. There you will have the possibility to meet the representatives of our sponsor-agency from USA where a presentation will be delivered as to what the program offers, travel arrangements to USA, American culture, different jobs etc.

Then the job fair starts where the sponsor-agency presents various jobs for the Kosovar students. You will be interviewed and be offered job choices; of course, you will have the possibility to choose the best job you like.

After you have selected the job, the DS forms will be issued from our sponsor-agency. This DS form arrives in Kosova after 3-4 weeks from the date of job fair. In the meantime Dardanica Work and Travel USA arranges the visa interview at the American Embassy and informs you about the dates of the interview. After you have gotten the visa you will be able to travel to USA starting from May 20.

Is assistance provided while in USA?
While being in USA you will be medically insured from our sponsor-agency, in case you need any medical help. Moreover, should you need any assistance you can reach our sponsor-agency by phone 24 hours a day.

Is accommodation provided?

Depending on the program you choose. If you apply through Job-Assisted option, then our sponsor-agency finds you a job including the accommodation with modest price.

Travel arrangements?

After you get J1 visa in the American Embassy you have to plan the date of your traveling. We have an agreement with AltaVia Travel, whereby our students will have price discounts for the tickets to USA.  Of course, you may search to find cheaper tickets elsewhere, should you wish to.
